Everything you need to know about First Semester Examinations (2014 - 2015)

The First Semester Examinations for the year (2014 - 2015) will start on Wednesday January 7th, 2015 and it will continue until January 21st, 2015. According to Exam schedules of the departments in this period exams will be done in only 12 days. the exams will start at 12:00 pm and will end at 1:30 pm every day. students should be present in the halls  at least 10 minutes before 12 pm. During the period of Exams the class of the Fourth, third and Second year students will be stopped. but for the first year students because their nomination was delayed, they will continue to take their classes. 

The number of students of each department that participate in the first semester examinations are as follows:

* The total of the students that participate in the first semester examinations are 741 student.

Terms and conditions: postponement of semester examinations:
   We inform all students of all departments of the faculty of engineering that the conditions about the postponement of the semester exams for all subjects that have been approved by the Faculty council for the year 2013 - 2014 will be followed for the year 2014 - 2015. the details are as follows:

First: The postponement of the subjects can only be done in the following conditions:
 A- the death of a family member of a relative of the student.
 B- showing the approved medical report that the student has been under full medical monitoring for th last 48 hour because of his\her bad condition.

Second: If there will be any approval of delaying of any exam then the postponed exam will be done as follows:
 A- During one year of study, the postponed exams that have been postponed by  justifications, only once can be done for both semesters which will be after the second semester and the date will be fixed by the Exam Committee.
 B- A student only once be able to postpone a subject for one semester even if the conditions of the (A or B) of the First point are available.
 C- for the postponed exam, all the classes that have been studied from the beginning of the year till the day of doing the postponed exam will be included.
 D- the mark of the postponed exam will only be counted for one semester and won't be counted for both semesters.
 E- For those subjects that are studied only one semester which means tow different subjects for one year, the student will abide by the conditions of (C and D). that means the exam will be done in both subjects but the mark will be counted only for the semester and the subject that has been delayed.
